COURT SERVICES SPECIALIST


DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

The Court Services Specialist establishes, audits and modifies accounts within the Michigan Child Support Enforcement System (CSES) to insure compliance with court orders and database integrity. An employee in this class also assists parties on an intake basis with all issues pertinent to their case. The Court Services Specialist conducts administrative reviews of the child support accounts and performs other related duties as assigned.
 

REQUIRED MINIMUM ENTRANCE QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Business Administration or closely related field; OR

2) Possess an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Business Administration or closely related field; AND
Have a minimum of one (1) year full-time increasingly responsible paid work experience in an account/record keeping capacity including direct client interaction and assistance; OR

3) Be a high school graduate or have successfully completed the General Education Development (GED) test; AND
Have a minimum of three (3) years full time increasingly responsible paid work experience in an account/record keeping capacity including direct client interaction and assistance.
