Electrical Engineer Intern

Position Overview

At dbHMS, we utilize engineering interns to assist senior engineers on project related tasks. These tasks include drafting, data entry, and designing components of a system under supervision. Our engineering interns also perform a variety of general administrative tasks associated with an engineering office. This position is a temporary one, having a start and end date in the offer. Engineering interns may be students, or recent graduates with less than one year of experience in the industry. 

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate AutoCAD
• Read and understand construction documents, floor plans, and equipment details
• Operate computer software such as Microsoft Office programs to perform engineering tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor as needed

Requirements

• Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic engineering or construction background
• Ability to operate Revit™ BIM software
• Ability to Operate AutoCAD
