As an iCON Senior Consultant you will be shaping and independently executing on key portions of strategic consulting engagements (module/work streams). In addition to identifying the problem to solve, generating hypotheses and testing them, and synthesizing insights, your role will also require you to highlight issues, propose options on how to address them, and develop pragmatic and actionable recommendations. The work will be collaborative, requiring professionalism in engagement of colleagues of various tenures, including leadership.

Zurich Internal Consulting (iCON) is the internal management consulting service provider supporting Zurich in key strategic and operational projects. iCON consists of senior professionals from top management consulting firms with extensive experience in strategic projects and experienced professionals from leading insurance companies, as well as graduates from premier MBA programs and undergraduate universities, and as such represents a talent pool for management roles within Zurich.

We support Zurich’s global business segments to help them reach their strategic goals, operating out of hubs in Chicago and Zurich.

 

Who we are looking for

 

We are looking for a Senior Consultant. We encourage you to apply to iCON if you have strong academic credentials along with 2 or more years of experience (detailed below) and an interest in expanding your career in consulting. We expect open-minded personalities with strong leadership potential and interpersonal skills, eager to work in an international environment.

 

 

Required Basic Qualifications

 

·         Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Management Consulting areas

OR

·         Masters Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Analyst area

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

·         Exceptional analytics and problem solving skills

·         Ability to communicate complex concepts verbally and in writing

·         Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

·         Strong leadership experience

·         Experience working with C-Suite executives

·         Results oriented

·         Fluent in Spanish or Portuguese

·         Business Travel, as required (approx. 15%-30%)

·         MBA
