IST Sophomore Experience

BP’s IST Sophomore Experience program is an exciting, all expenses paid, week-long program that delivers a unique opportunity for you to learn about life in BP’s Supply & Trading Organization. Supply & Trading is the commercial face for BP, and provides commodity trading, risk management and information technology skills for the business.

Selected participants will gain experience through a mix of presentations, hands-on trading demonstrations, case studies and networking events.

Program Date and Location:

• May 14-18 in Houston, TX

• June 11-15 in Chicago, IL

   

  Program Eligibility:

   

  To be considered for Sophomore Experience you must meet the following criteria:

• Be a second year undergraduate student (between sophomore and junior year during the summer).

• Have the qualifying 3.2 GPA.

  You’ll complete an online application form and then be invited to a virtual interview.

   

  All applications will be evaluated based on academic record, virtual interview responses, work experience, demonstrated leadership and community/extracurricular involvement.
