Junior Sales Development Representative

Title: Junior Sales Development Representative (Full-time/Equity after 3 months)

Location: San Francisco, CA

Type: Full-time ($36K-$48K annual base; Equity to be discussed after 3-6 months)

About WeTravel

WeTravel (www.wetravel.com) is an online payment platform serving boutique/small travel companies and organizers. They can create a trip registration page with an itinerary for their clients in minutes, collect payments, register their clients, and manage all financials in one place. WeTravel is one of Huffington Post’s 2017 “Top Travel Sites Right Now” alongside Google Flights, Foursquare, Momondo etc. Now we are looking to extend our team with dedicated sales team members to identify and qualify potential companies to use WeTravel.


Role Summary

In this role, you will work on providing our inside sales managers with the best possible leads of travel companies to use WeTravel. We will provide guidelines and an unqualified list of leads. You will then research each lead and qualify the lead. As your experience grows, you will also reach out to potential customers over email, telephone, and video call.

You should have a strong can-do attitude, be organized, and target-driven.


Role Responsibilities

  • Effectively and quickly qualify prospective business leads (150 leads/day)

  • Research users to create patterns for new lead generation

  • Meet and exceed monthly activity metrics for lead generation and prospecting

  • Work directly with the CMO in San Francisco to establish and constantly improve lead prospecting guidelines

  • Answer incoming requests in relation to sales questions


Requirements

  • Entry-level position (0-2 years of sales experience)

  • Strong information gathering skills from online and public sources

  • Prior sales experience and/or lead prospecting experience is a plus

  • Strong listening skills and orientation towards service and teamwork

  • Ability to ask probing questions, listen and question the status quo

  • Passion for disruption, innovation and challenging traditional ways of doing business

  • Knowledge of Hubspot CRM is an advantage, but not necessary
