Human Resource Manager

This position is for a Human Resource Manager who originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards; goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.

 

JOB DUITIES AND TASK:

1.     Maintain all time and attendance for employees in 2 locations.

2.     Accurate bi-weekly payroll processing through ADP.

3.     Maintain, and analyze monthly metrics reporting on turnover, injuries, and absenteeism.

4.     Participate in weekly senior management meetings, providing valuable feedback on employee morale, turnover, and overall employee relations.

5.     Post open positions, recruit new talent, interview and select well qualified candidates.

6.     Conduct all new hire on-boarding, to include; orientation, pre-employment drug screening/background checks, e-verify, and all required documentation.

7.     Update, implement and facilitate new policies and procedures in relations to employee handbook, morale and relations in conjunction with the corporate culture.

8.     Process and follow through on all Workman’s Compensation claims; FMLA leave requests; Short-term and Long-term Disability.

9.     Create and manage all personnel files with a high level of confidentiality.

10. All other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

1.     Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Human Resource Management preferred, not required.

2.     Minimum of 1 year of experience in a metal fabrication/manufacturing environment.

3.     High level of leadership and decision making skills.

4.     Ability to motivate, influence and train people.

5.     Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.

6.     Strong organizational skills.

7.     Proficiency in MS Office; strong background in Excel.

8.     Knowledge and experience with ADP.
