Senior Systems Specialist
Job Duties:
- Project planning, preparing design documents, conducting impact analysis, scheduling and tracking of work packages across the teams;
- Architect and designing of new integration solutions based on TDAF requirements;
- Providing administration, development and maintenance support – Provide functional, business and technical support for EAI (Enterprise Application Integration), IBM WMB (Websphere Message Broker) and IBM WMQ (Websphere Messaging Queuing) tools;
- New Business requirements – Work extensively with business directly to gather the requirements for business need requests, and generate new integration solution and high-level specification documents;
- Work with different project members, including Business, Technicians, Solutions and Application Development manager to validate the business requirements and provide solutions for application enhancement request and production issues;
- Designed & configured new business and post-bind functionality (Lease renewal, Reversal, Payoffs, Payment History, Update collections, Retrieve retail and Lease data, etc.) using IBM tools and products;
- Responsible to maintain, manage and administer the middleware components (IBM MQ and IBM Message Broker) for the client’s IT infrastructure;
- Provide support for the business critical production environment and applications through integration services;
- Architect and design new integration solution based on client’s requirements;
- Develop solutions from the design and perform functional enhancements and thorough system testing of existing and new services while maintaining the highest quality levels;
- Process alignment of changes, problems, incidents, business impacts etc.;
- Measure and report on applications impacting availability issues, monitor and report on problems and error resolution process and perform follow-up.
Job requirements: Master degree in Computer Science or related field required. Must have 24 months of experience in the following:
- IBM Middleware Websphere Messaging & Queuing Tool
- IBM WMB – IBM Middleware Websphere Message Broker Tool
- UNIX Technologies (Shell Scripting, PERL scripting, Kshell scripts), IDEs (Message Broker Toolkit, RFH utility), Java Technologies (Servlets, JSP and Core Java) and Web Technologies (XML, Java script and XSLT) & Database processing systems (ESQL, IBM DB2, MySQL)
- Skill of stabilizing systems by doing proactive monitoring and thorough root cause analysis for production problems and providing permanent resolution in timely fashion.
- Dealing with Distributed and Mainframe applications that involve Lease and Retail businesses like Collections update, Payoffs, Payment Histories, Renewal, Reversal, Reinstatement, Rewrite, Reissue and Billing process etc.
- Knowledge of the Automotive and Banking and Financial Services Domain.
