Associate Financial Advisor
A successful Associate Financial Advisor will be a dedicated team player while being able to operate autonomously. This individual is exceptionally client-focused, highly dependable, analytical, and possesses an elevated level of integrity and professionalism.
Specific job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Monitor and rebalance client portfolios, raising funds for cash needs, preparation of asset allocation charts, and running portfolio reviews
- Prepare meeting materials and create customized reports to address client needs as required by the Senior Advisor
- Provide input, and proactively identify ways to assist a Senior Advisor in issue-spotting and generating opportunities for clients and their portfolios
- Participate in client meetings via phone and accompany the Senior Advisor to client meetings, when appropriate
- Assist with client service, transaction and other team support as needed
- Work with the investment team to submit purchase and sale transactions
Required Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-5 years of relevant work and/or internship experience
- CFP® preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
- Desire to increase financial planning knowledge and to obtain the CFP® certification
- Knowledge or coursework in financial planning preferred
- Knowledge of stock, bonds, alternative investments and financial markets preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Detail orientated
