UK Education Consultant

ARCH Education is currently seeking a bright and motivated teacher with a background in the Humanities/English to teach a variety of progressive literature and skills based programs within our Academic and Enrichment Faculty. This full-time role will involve teaching students ranging from age 7 to 18, and will be based in Hong Kong.

Founded in 2009 by Oxbridge and Ivy League graduates, ARCH Education is an expert educational institute based in Hong Kong. ARCH’s mission is to bridge the education gap through delivering transformational programs and providing expert guidance on international education, to equip students for their future educational and career goals.

We attract some of the most talented and dedicated teachers and counselors who inspire students to learn and find their passions. Courses offered at ARCH include critical reading, writing, speaking and thinking programs, university preparation, academic and signature programs.

Separately in 2011, ARCH established ARCH Community Outreach (“ACO”), a non-profit charity (IR File No. 91/11870) aimed at broadening Hong Kong youth’s exposure to international education experiences. ACO was originally funded through a gift from the founders of ARCH Education. Annually a portion of profits from ARCH Education is donated to ACO to continue its outreach initiatives.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Work with the dynamic ARCH UK Consultation team to learn about the application process for UK boarding schools and universities, covering a range of different subjects/disciplines.

* Liaise with families (students and parents) who have aspirations to apply to UK boarding schools and/or universities.

* Provide coaching, advice and guidance to students during their aforementioned application preparation process.

Qualifications and Skills

* Strong communication, multi-tasking and problem solving skills

* Energy and passion, with an ability to think creatively. Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, and professionalism.

* Teaching and curriculum development experience (if interested in teaching enrichment programs)

* Prefer to commence in Feb 2018 (Negotiable), 2 Years Contract

* Remuneration would be including Salary (depending on experience) and Incentive Bonus. Expected remuneration range from GBP2,550 to GBP3,670.

The following experience may be helpful, but is not required:

* With experience in education industry, preferred but not compulsory

* Oxford and Cambridge background, preferred but not compulsory

* Boarding school background, preferred but not compulsory
