Enrichment Faculty Head (Full Time)
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the ARCH enrichment team of 14-15 instructors to develop skill-based curriculum to enhance students’ fundamental skills in reading, writing, public speaking and/or critical thinking.
- Be responsible for the development of all the skills enrichment programs; taking on the responsibility to liaise with lead instructors and instructors to ensure quality control across the faculty’s delivery as well as standardization of curriculum development
- Be responsible for the delivery of certain levels of the skills enrichment classes
- Be the key coordinator in leading parent-teacher days and providing feedback to parents and students on academic and skills enrichment progress
- Be prepared to liaise with management and administrators to ensure the smooth running of enrichment programs
- Take a leadership role in facilitating and conducting the ARCH teacher training program
Requirements
- Experience with teacher training, teaching and curriculum development
- Strong communication, multi-tasking and problem solving skills
- Leadership skills demonstrated by prior experience in leading a team of academics or teachers
- Energy and passion, with an ability to think creatively. Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, and professionalism.
The following experience may be helpful, but is not required:
- With experience in education industry, preferred but not compulsory
- Oxford and Cambridge background, preferred but not compulsory
- Boarding school background, preferred but not compulsory
