Education Internship

The Education Internship is designed for those who wish to combine an interest in theatre, education and community partnership building. Interns will assist with the day-to-day business of Steppenwolf Education, including:

• organizing events around Steppenwolf Education programming
• developing educational and marketing materials for the department
• contributing articles to study guides created in conjunction with Steppenwolf for Young Adults productions
• assisting in facilitation of teacher workshops and trainings
• organizing and creating research materials for Steppenwolf for Young Adults productions

Candidates should work well with people and have excellent organizational, writing, research and communication skills as well as a dedication to arts education and proven experience working with youth. Experience with high school-aged students is a plus. A writing sample will be requested at the time of interview selection. This position requires occasional weekend and evening commitments.
