Development and Fundraising Internship

The Development/Fundraising apprenticeship/internship provides a broad exposure to Steppenwolf's fundraising program, with a focus on building strong relationships with donors. Apprentices and interns will have an opportunity to learn about individual giving, corporate sponsorship, foundation and government grant proposals, event planning, donor database management, prospect research, individual donor solicitations, email and online donor communications, and preparing for board of trustee meetings. Candidates should have excellent computer and writing skills, be highly organized and able to multi–task, and have the desire to be part of a fast-paced and successful development team.
