Security Operations Intern

MILLENNIUM TRUST COMPANY is a leading financial services company offering niche alternative custody solutions to institutions, advisors and individuals. We serve as a complement to services offered by other custodians. Some of our innovative solutions include alternative asset custody, rollover solutions, private fund custody and advisor support solutions. Millennium Trust Company seeks to build long-lasting relationships with clients through strong customer service. Due to consistent year-to-year double digit growth, Millennium Trust Company is looking for dynamic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team!

INTERNSHIP SUMMARY
We value our interns at Millennium Trust Company and are excited to provide them with an opportunity to develop their professional skills while obtaining hands on practical experience in the financial services/custody industry. This is a paid program geared toward college students, recent college graduates, and those individuals pursuing a Master’s degree.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Rotate through various job functions within Security Operations, shadowing staff and executing  daily tasks, as assigned, accurately and efficiently
  • Work both independently and collaboratively on a variety of projects
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Participate in regular staff meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

INTERN WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN

  • Lunch-and-Learn sessions to network with other interns and Millennium Trust Company executives
  • Have your resume reviewed by an HR professional

QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
  • Completion of freshman year and a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Business casual dress with jeans on Fridays
  • Professional demeanor and detail-oriented
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Analytical and quantitative skills required
  • Strong research and problem solving skills
  • Capacity  to maintain confidential information

SCHEDULE, COMPENSATION, AND OTHER INFORMATION

  • The internship program is a 8-week program with full time hours
  • Business casual dress with jeans on Friday
  • Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds
