Program Intern, Innovation and Development

World Learning seeks a Program Intern to support the Innovation and Development Team on short term exchange implementation. The intern will assist with the administration, implementation, and/or monitoring of international exchange programs for both foreign and American participants.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the recruitment, documentation, review and selection of participants for programs;
• Conduct research to identify appropriate program components and assist in the preparation of programs;
• Develop prospective program calendars and itineraries and arrange professional appointments;
• Disseminate program information to professional contacts and sponsoring agency/client;
• Arrange program logistics (air and ground travel/hotels/meeting space);
• Assist with program participants’ visa arrangements;
• Assist in preparing briefing books and program materials for participants;
• Assist in program documentation and maintenance of records;
• Contribute to the team’s social media strategy and website development efforts; and
• Handle other assigned tasks as needed and requested by the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree;
• International travel/work experience;
• An interest and comfort in working with people from other cultures;
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook;
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Foreign language skills, desired;
• Website development skills, desired.
