Public Management Fellow

The City of Hillsboro Public Management Fellowship Program is designed for emerging leaders with a strong commitment to public service and leadership.  The fellowship is a unique, highly visible position that provides fellows with a breadth of experience in local government.

The one-year fellowship is structured as a rotational experience within different city departments. All fellows rotate through the City Manager’s Office and additional departments, such as Finance, Public Works, Library, or Planning. 

The City of Hillsboro Public Management Fellowship is recognized by the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) as a Local Government Management Fellowship.
