Investment Banking Summer Analyst – Los Angeles

In this sector, Sage has distinguished itself by closing some of the highest profile transaction of recent times. Select clients have included Paige, Mackage, J.McLaughlin, GLAMGLOW, TOMS, Dutch (dba Joie, Current Elliott, and Equipment), Intermix, Too Faced, J Brand, Vince, DC Shoes, and Juicy Couture.
Sage is seeking a summer analyst in its Los Angeles office. Successful candidates would receive regular exposure to senior bankers and live deals, as well as regular structured and hands-on training experience.
Key responsibilities include:
• Performing financial and valuation analyses
• Assisting with due diligence
• Creating pitch books, presentations, and marketing materials
• Performing company- and industry-specific research
• Helping support overall business development and transaction execution
Qualifications:
• Previous professional and/or academic finance experience
• Superior academic record
• Have completed Sophomore or Junior year
• Technical competency (e.g., financial modeling coursework)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Terrific work ethic
• Strong interest in a long-term career in investment banking
• Interest in apparel, personal care, specialty retail, e-commerce and other verticals within the branded consumer sector
• Willingness to relocate to Los Angeles
