Digital Account Manager


NJ Advance Media provides content, advertising and marketing services to NJ.com, lehighvalleylive.com and New Jersey’s leading newspaper, The Star-Ledger as well as daily and weekly newspapers in New Jersey and Pennsylvania (including The Times of Trenton, The South Jersey Times, The Hunterdon Democrat and The Express-Times of Easton, PA.)
 
 
WHAT IT IS:
 
The Digital Account Manager will work in a consultative manner with internal and external stakeholders to maximize our client relationships. This position establishes, owns, manages, and cultivates account relationships through the act of developing sales strategies, identifying, creating and implementing optimization plans, and storytelling campaign activities. It is essential for this position to proactively monitor campaigns, troubleshoot issues, and recommend campaign enhancements that will further our client’s goals. A successful Account Manager will excel in playing a key role in strategy development and implementation and in client-facing meetings.
 
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
 
  • Responsible for supporting all existing digital business and helping achieve team(s) digital goals through client retention and upsell.
  • Work with sales reps and direct clients on recommendations on creative, landing pages, optimization and new solutions to help improve campaign performance and help our clients scale.
  • Responsible for organizing, confirming accuracy, delivering and reviewing client reporting. This will be a Monthly or quarterly business review, in-person as needed for major accounts.
  • Manage our pre-launch campaign checklist for new campaigns to make sure they are set up for success and to properly to hit Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
  • Must have a strong overall digital knowledge of all products (Search, Social, email, SC, Display, etc.) as well as be an expert in several systems, (i.e. Salesforce, Google Analytics, Adwords, etc.)
  • Will be working across sales, operations and marketing as needed to help accelerate digital growth
  • Maintain professional working relationships with all customers and coworkers

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Extensive computer use required. Some travel required. Ability to work flexible work schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.
