Inside Sales Representative

Position overview:

Acting as a customer advocate within Optimas for assigned Customer accounts, Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for ensuring the customer continually receives professional world-class partnership from all Optimas departments and personnel.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drive profitable growth to an assigned portfolio of existing customers
  • Prospect for new business using a mix of phone and email with company-provided leads
  • Demonstrate an ability to understand a customer’s business
  • Establish relationships with key decision makers within your accounts
  • Identify new opportunities for growth or new business
  • Create a great impression by effectively communicating our value proposition
  • Address and overcome objections
  • Develop exceptional partnership with customers
  • Conduct daily transactional requirements such as quotes and order entry
  • Maintain accurate account, contact, opportunity and sales activity in CRM system

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of B2B sales experience
  • MRO/Industry experience preferred
  • Proven account development and nurturing skills
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit
  • Works with a Sense of Urgency and Resilience
  • Able to manage multiple tasks
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and basic computer knowledge

Physical Demands / Travel

  • While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear.
  • Primarily desk/office call center setting with travel less than 10%.
