Intern - Threat Research Engineer

As a member of the Threat Research Team, you will have the opportunities to investigate new vulnerabilities, research on malicious files and their C&C traffic or fight with firewall evasion techniques. You will be able to work with the most talented security researchers!

 

Responsibilities

 

* Threat research and provide IPS detection guidance

* File format research for possible AV solution

* Protocol analysis and defense against common firewall evasion techniques

 

Qualifications

 

* Solid knowledge of security, familiarity with popular vulnerability exploit and attack methods.

* Solid knowledge of common network protocols such as http, ftp, ssl, smtp…

* Strong programming background for at least one of the common programming languages such as C, python

* Experience in reverse engineering on x86/x64 or ARM architecture is a plus

* Knowledge of common firewall evasion techniques is a plus

* Knowledge of common file types is a big plus

* Must be pursuing a 4-year Undergraduate Degree or 2-year Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.

* Must have authorization to work in the United States
