Physical Therapist

Job Summary

This position is for a staff Physical Therapist role in our Port Saint Lucie, FL training center. The BARWIS-PSL training facility is a 10,000 sq foot training and rehabilitation center designed to bring the best in human performance and technology to a host of patient populations. Patient populations will include general population, high school and collegiate athletes, as well as professional and olympic athletes. This position allows for a dynamic interaction between BARWIS strength coaches and physical therapists, allowing for the best continuum of care and promotion of long-term wellness. One of the responsibilities of this position is oversight and providing training to clients who are in the BARWIS Neurological Re-Engineering Program. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to continue our practice growth and potentially expand into clinic director roles in the future.


Required Qualifications

  • Masters( MSPT/MPT) or DPT (DPT preferred) in Physical Therapy.
  • Satisfactory completion of an internship program during Physical Therapy studies
  • Possesses a current state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida, or demonstrates tentative license date.

Desired Qualifications

  • Looking for candidates with 1-3 years of outpatient experience, although new graduates are welcomed to apply
  • Ideal qualities of a BARWIS Physical Therapist
  • Passion to help others, going above and beyond for patient care
  • Familiarity with advanced therapeutic modalities such as blood flow restriction, external counterpulsation, Keiser pneumatic equipment,
  • Familiarity of strength and conditioning principles and ability to periodize training regimens (NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist most preferred)
  • Openness to learn all aspects of BARWIS family of companies
  • Works well with a variety of professionals to deliver unmatched care and training services.

Work Schedule

This position can be full time (48 hours) or part time with the ability to transition into a full time position rapidly.
