Intern - Sales Controlling and Coordination Analyst (Starting January 2018)

Job Description

The qualified individual will be responsible for pricing and plant related discrepancy analysis, including the processing of pricing debit/credit memos, preparing reports for divisions to assist in pricing accruals, manually clearing approved plant related discrepancies. Specific responsibilities include: working closely with Bosch Plant associates to determine if quantity, returned material, excess freight deductions are correct, issuing credit memos and maintenance to clear the accounts. Also, will need to understand the price discrepancies to determine why there are variances between Bosch invoice price and amount customer paid. Reporting actual results to managers and responding to follow up variance questions with adequate research and documentation.  Responsibilities also include participation in the month end accounting close process and adhering to strict reporting deadlines during month end.  Acting as the contact point for plant related discrepancies with other locations in the organization. Management reviews, internal controls testing, special projects and ad hoc requests are all part of normal job duties.

Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university
  • Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Accounting or Finance with at least one semester completed
  • Minimum of overall GPA of at least 3.0
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Ability to organize large volumes of data into concise, accurate summaries.
  • Strong track record in a financial analysis role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • 1-2 years working knowledge of SAP Preferred.
