Jr. Operations Manager
The Operations Manager will oversee the operations for multiple departments including: Roadway, Toll Collections, EH&S, and the General Operations Teams.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and support the culture of “safety” in all ITRCC activities
Lead assigned projects to completion
Direct interface with managers to develop specific areas of the business beyond status quo
Seek out operational efficiencies to improve the business flow, control costs while maintaining an acceptable level of service required by the concession lease agreement
From a EH&S compliance perspective, confirm that ITRCC continues to meet its regulatory responsibilities while enforcing a strong safety culture throughout the organization
Although department heads are responsible for their individual budgets, direct collaboration on spending and opportunities to reduce costs are critical
Annual budget preparation and reforecasting involvement
Detailed analysis of operational data, e.g. safety, benchmarking against internal performance and industry, winter maintenance effectiveness, labor hours, etc. is a high priority and will consume a significant amount of daily activities
Report writing on various operational topics which require industry research and internal collaboration. Reports are targeted to the executive committee and the board of directors
Drive initiatives in the management team which contribute to long-term operational excellence
Performs other duties as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
3 year minimum in management role
Budgeting experience
Advanced level of Microsoft Excel
