Undergrad Intern - HR Leave of Absence

Position Summary:

Our intern will be a part of the HR Shared Services Leave of Absence (LOA) team and supporting HR Senior Manager and Advisors on the LOA process. You will assist in all facets of the leave process under the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), State, ADA and Company leaves. You will be successful in this role by demonstrating your ability to maintain confidentiality in the work place, to problem solve and apply critical thinking skills, and to think analytically and creatively under pressure.

In this program you will:

  • Learn the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) as a foundation for the Leave of Absence team.
  • Shadow each area to learn what is entailed in each function.
  • Participate with various projects and assisting teams on a daily basis.
Required Qualifications:
  • Availability to work full time for duration of the 10 week program.
  • 1+ years (professional or academic) experience with Microsoft Office


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Applicants with a Human Resources concentration of study.
  • Customer service or analytic experience.
Education:
  • Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at a 4 year college or university and entering their senior year in fall of 2018
