Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Compensation: Competitive salary + sales bonus plan

Overview

Personal Warehouse develops real estate projects designed for owners who want a flexible space to work, store, and grow. Since 1999, the company has maintained a singular focus on this category, delivering nearly two million square feet across forty projects in seven states while continuing to expand into new projects and markets. We are seeking a Sales Associate who can help turn that growth into sales and leasing success across assigned projects.

Mission

Increase sales, company profitability, and overall customer experience by managing the sales and leasing process from sourcing a qualified lead through contract closing and move-in.

Role Summary

The Sales Associate owns assigned projects throughout the sales and leasing cycle, from sourcing and qualifying leads through close and move-in. This person works closely with buyers, tenants, brokers, and internal teams to move deals forward, maintain accurate pipeline and inventory data, and deliver a strong customer experience across assigned developments.

Core Responsibilities

Own project sales and leasing execution

  • Manage assigned Personal Warehouse projects from conception through completion of the sales and leasing cycle. 
  • Manage to quarterly and annual sales goals. 
  • Take ownership of assigned projects and relationships, with responsibility for successful execution from project conception to closeout. 
  • Coordinate effectively with superintendents, vendors, partner teams, affiliated brokers, legal teams, and project managers in a timely manner. 
  • Ensure project sales materials remain accurate and up to date, including utility transfer documents, preferred lenders, tenant and owner handbooks, project brochures, and availability maps. 
  • Manage site signage and ensure maximum visibility to attract attention. 

Guide qualified leads from first conversation to close

  • Guide qualified leads through the sales pipeline from lead qualification through contract closing, serving as a liaison to the PW Sales team for assigned projects. 
  • Represent Personal Warehouse by answering questions about the company, product, projects, current inventory, options, and amenities. 
  • Build strong customer relationships and serve as the buyer’s advocate by explaining the product, process, next steps, and providing consistent communication and follow-up.  
  • Understand common objections and concerns and address them effectively. 
  • Draft contracts and leases and work with buyers, tenants, and their representatives to support successful execution. 

Maintain a high-quality pipeline and inventory record in HubSpot

  • Create, maintain, and update relevant unit availability data in HubSpot. 
  • Manage a unique deal pipeline by entering timely, detailed, and accurate information for every lead and prospect. 
  • Link project deals to unit sales and update inventory within each assigned project. 
  • Track information related to each unit sale and lease, including occupancy, use, and buyer and tenant details. 
  • Ensure sales data and comp records are complete, accurate, and organized. 
  • Reengage prospects through provided call lists on a weekly basis and move them through the pipeline in alignment with engagement and reengagement plans. 

Build broker and market relationships

  • Manage relationships with local affiliate and external brokers using sales strategies that support project success. 
  • Communicate clearly to ensure fluency in Personal Warehouse policy and strategies. 
  • Cultivate new leads and develop relationships within the local broker community to promote Personal Warehouse. 

Travel

  • Travel for training, open houses, events, and project tours as needed. 
  • Opportunity for relocation to future development projects. 

Requirements

  • Active real estate license required: candidates must be able to obtain licensure shortly after hire. 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in business administration, marketing, or communication, or equivalent real estate experience. 
  • Previous experience in marketing, communications, promotions, real estate, and/or sales preferred. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn CRM software and databases. 
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills. 
  • Self-directed and able to manage time to meet goals and objectives. 
  • Ability to think creatively, anticipate customer needs, and build strong relationships. 
  • Ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
