INTRODUCTION

Axalta Coating Systems’ Leadership recognizes the business value of introducing young, new talent into the organization through our internship program. The Axalta Internship Program provides a meaningful professional experience to college students and is supported by a hands-on supervisor, a 1-to-1 mentoring relationship with a senior Axalta leader and a day-to-day buddy to help with the daily maneuvering within our company.   To enhance the real-world experience, the Interns are provided with a unique project designed by the functional leadership that possesses true business value. At the conclusion of the internship the interns are then provided an opportunity to establish their own brand through a presentation of “what I have learned” to senior leaders sharing the outcomes of their work on the project. Additionally, the interns are provided direct exposure to Axalta’s senior level executives through our international lecture series which includes a live question and answer session with the leader. The interns will also be provided the opportunity to meet, network and spend time with the rest of the Axalta summer interns during the 4-day Summit held at our Global Headquarters in Philadelphia, PA. These are all keys to insuring a robust, meaningful and value adding real-world experience to these students.
